National Gober Family Reunion

The National Gober Family Reunion will be September 14th and 15th, 2007 in Vicks-burg, Ms. It will be held at the Battlefield Inn and Conference Center, 1-20 N. Frontage Road, Vicksburg, MS Call 1-800-359-9363 for Gober Family Reservations. Double rooms are $69.00 plus tax. You can visit their web site www.battlefieldinn.org.

We are planning on a bus tour on Thursday, September 13th. We have had these tours at the last two reunion and have really been a hit. We plan to tour the Battlefield close to the inn where we will be staying.

Gober Family reunion in Brownwood, Texas

The Walter and Mollie Gober reunion is the 79th annual reunion and it will

be held August 11th and 12th, 2007 in a new location. It is at the Whoop and

Holler Ranch near Mullin, Tx. You can e-mail them at

Brownwood and Goldthwaite, Texas on Hwys. 84 and 183. We will gather

Saturday morning- bring your own lunch. Visiting and game playing that

afternoon and shopping at the General Store. Saturday will be fish fry,

please bring salads, desserts. Sunday lunch will be brisket furnished by the

Reunion Association. Bring vegetables, salads and desserts. There are 2

swimming pools, a lake to fish in but throw the fish back and no swimming in

the lake. There are some cabins to rent- check on them. Also you can bring
