    I have found new information on Margaret M. Gober the wife of Jasper E. Gober. They are parents of Rufus Smith Gober who married Minnie Emaline James.

    Margaret Matilda was born September 26, 1849 in Mississippi and died August 7, 1913 due to Mitral heart disease and is buried in Greenleaf Cemetery, Brown Co. TX. She was born to James Loving and Elizabeth Ryals (spelled Ryles on the record). Her father James died within the year of her birth and her mother remarried and had other children, only to lose her second husband 12 years later.

    Margaret's date of birth, date of death, cause of death and parents names are recorded in the McInnis Funeral Records, Vol. I for years 1903-1920. Her husband J. E. Gober was the informant.. Hereinafter cited as Margaret M. Gober.
